Student Programs

Students have traditionally been an integral part of the SC conference and this continues at SC13 where a variety of programs are tailored for undergraduate and graduate students. Student Volunteers help with the administration of the conference, while also having time to attend technical program sessions and meet with HPC experts from around the world. The Doctoral Showcase provides a venue for Ph.D. students to present their research to a broad audience.

In the Student Cluster Competition, small teams of students from universities around the globe compete to harness the power of current-generation cluster hardware in a spirited, but friendly, competition.

Finally, the Student Job Fair gives SC13 exhibitors the opportunity to meet with students interested in employment opportunities, while students can explore a wide range of career opportunities in face-to-face meetings.
