The SC13 reservation system is now open. If you are planning to attend SC13, reserve your room now for the best choice of hotels and rates.
SC13 has only one authorized contractor for arranging hotel rooms: Orchid Event Solutions (OES). The conference is not responsible for hotels or rates offered by travel agents or other organizations who say they are speaking on behalf of SC13. To avoid potential problems with your reservation, please be sure to use the forms accessible from this webpage.

10/11/2013 UPDATE for those affected by US federal government shutdown
In order to accommodate US federal government employees and their contractors directly affected by the lapse in appropriations for the federal government, SC has changed its housing policy for individuals in the affected group. SC13 will waive hotel cancellation and/or change fees for those individuals who are subject to the government shutdown and who have to change their travel plans, until 4 November. Changes after that date will be subject to the established change and cancellations fees. If you fall into this category and need to request a fee waiver, please contact housing@info.supercomputing.org
Important Dates and Deadlines
March 1, 2013 – Hotel reservation system opens
September 30, 2013 – Last day for submitting occupancy lists for exhibitor room blocks
October 18, 2013 – Last day for making hotel reservations, or for canceling reservations with no penalty
October 18, 2013 – Last day for canceling hotel reservations with no penalty
October 18 through November 6, 2013 – Late requests will be accommodated if possible
72 hours (3 days) prior to scheduled arrival – Last chance to cancel without also paying charges for first night
Choosing a Hotel
All SC13 hotels are located close to the Colorado Convention Center - more than half of them are within 3 blocks. Therefore, no bus transportation will be provided.

A range of prices is available, and free internet access is included with all rooms booked through the SC13 website. Check individual hotel sites for details about on-site restaurants, fitness centers, and other amenities.
Making Your Hotel Reservation
Reservations will not be accepted without a room deposit of one night’s room rental plus tax for each room reserved. A credit card is required for this; no checks, cash or money orders will be accepted. Requests that do not include a valid credit card will be returned without processing. Note that the credit card must be valid through November 2013.
- Online reservations: Use the online reservation system to reserve up to 10 hotel rooms. This is the preferred method for making reservations.
- Phone reservations: Call Orchid Event Solutions toll-free at 888-665-1371 (International: 801-505-5264), between 9am and 8pm Eastern Time, Monday through Friday.
- Paper request form: Complete and mail the SC13 hotel request form to Orchid Event Solutions at:

You may also fax the form to: 801-355-0250. Only fully completed forms will be accepted. Do not send the form directly to a hotel, as this will only delay the processing of your request.
The last day for requesting reservations is Tuesday, October 15, 2013.
Watch for Your Confirmation
Rooms will be reserved on a first come, first served basis. A confirmation from Orchid Event Solutions – not the hotel – will be sent for each reservation, modification or cancellation. Email confirmations will have the return address of “SC13”, so you may need to watch your spam file.
Please review your confirmation carefully for accuracy. If, after 10 days, you have not received a confirmation, please notify Orchid Event Solutions using the contact information at the bottom of the page.
If You Need to Make a Change or Cancel Your Room
Although your reservation will be confirmed by Orchid Event Solutions, your hotel will not receive information about your reservation until November 7th, 2013. Before that date, be sure to contact Orchid Event Solutions – not the hotel – with any questions or changes to your rooms. (See contact information at the bottom of the page)
Reservations can be modified or canceled without penalty no later than October 18, 2013. After this date and up to 72 hours prior to arrival, cancellations will be subject to a $125 penalty. Any cancellations within 72 hours of arrival are subject to one night's room and tax penalty at your confirmed hotel. Be sure to go through Orchid Event Solutions – not the hotel – up to and including November 6, 2013.
