At the same time, the complexity of applications will rise sharply, both to simulate new science and to exploit the new hardware features. Users will expect a new generation of tools that help address these challenges, work seamlessly with current and new programming models, scale to the full size of the machine, and provide automatic analysis capabilities.=0A=0AWe are addressing these requirements through a wide range of tool research and development efforts targeting performance analysis, performance visualization, debugging, and correctness tools, as well as automatic tuning and optimization capabilities. These efforts are supported by activities on tool infrastructures that enable us to work with more modular tool designs and support rapid tool prototyping. This emerging technologies booth will showcase our approaches to users, system designers and other tool developers.
