Papers

The Technical Papers Program at SC is the leading venue for presenting the highest-quality original research, from the foundations of HPC to its emerging frontiers. Papers presented at SC have to pass a high bar – only 21% of submissions were accepted for SC12. The SC13 Technical Papers program covers a variety of advanced research topics in HPC spanning the following nine areas:

- Algorithms
- Applications
- Architecture & Networks
- Grids & Clouds
- Performance Analysis & Tools
- Programming Systems
- State of the Practice
- Storage, Visualization & Analytics
- System Software

After an extremely rigorous peer review process in which all the papers will be subject to at least three careful reviews, a two-day face-to-face committee meeting for finalizing the selections will be held June 2013 in Denver, CO. Conference awards are offered for best paper and best student paper; awards are presented at the awards session during SC13.

Format: Submissions are limited to 10 pages in the ACM format (see http://www.acm.org/sigs/publications/proceedings-templates). The 10-page limit includes figures, tables, and appendices, but does not include references, for which there is no page limit.
